Cody Longo, the actor best known for playing Nicholas “Nikki” Alamain on the NBC soap opera “Days of Our Lives,” has died, according to his representative. He was 34 years old.
The actor and musician, sometimes known as Cody Anthony, was found dead at his home in Austin, Texas on Wednesday. According to TMZ. His wife, Stephanie Clark, called police to search Longo’s home while he was working at a local dance studio.
“Cody was our whole world. The kids and I are devastated and absolutely devastated. He was the best father and the best father. We will always miss and love you,” Clark said in a statement.
Born on March 4, 1988 in Littleton, Colorado, Longo earned a reputation as an entertainer with appearances in films like “Ball Don’t Lie” and the 2009 remake of “Fame.” The budding actor landed recurring roles on shows like ABC Family’s “Make It or Break It” and Nick Nite’s “Hollywood Heights,” in which Longo played teen heartthrob Eddie Duran for 78 episodes.
That same year, Longo appeared on Days of Our Lives, played Nathan Culver, the boyfriend of one of the series’ victims, and played Jo Danville’s son, Tyler, on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation Josephson in two episodes. CSI: New York.
“Cody was a dear friend for over a decade before he became a client,” said Longo’s representative, Alex Gittelson. “My heart breaks for his beautiful family. He had taken time off acting to pursue music and spend more time with his family in Nashville, but we had been in regular contact and he was excited to be back acting this year. Cody was such a loyal, loving and talented person and he will be sorely missed.
The actor was arrested in 2020 for domestic violence. Longo also pleaded guilty in 2021 to charges of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl.

Longo is survived by his wife and three children.
