When the Day slowly rises from its bed,
he reached out and wiped the still sweaty glass with his palm
and then the sleepy eyelids splashed with ice water…
It’s ready now… And it’s off… What a false freedom!
He has a choice… He will choose what he will be from now on.
Will he laugh out of joy or cry out of sadness.
Will Dali again embark on the primal struggle for bread.
Will he be the winner? Or defeated and weak?
Will he carry the desperately heavy bag on his back
and in it thousands of questions about tomorrow’s fate?
Or carefree, frivolous will stop in the road new
for a little happiness… for otherness… for a tasty morsel of love?
One openly attacks him…And another sneakily steals him.
He will defend himself bravely or surrender.
And it decreases, decreases… And there will be a lot of smoke…
And it won’t come back because it’s unique…
The day… It goes… It gets dark… The day… Both poor and rich.
And slowly slowly creeps to lie down in the earthen bed.
And to remain as a memory… Smiling… Sad… Tired…
And give up his place alas! the next day.
