Ronaldo revealed how he jeopardized his major league debut months before the show after accepting a professional Muay Thai bout while training in Camp Phuket boxing relayon Phuket Island, Thailand.

Lazy Boy said that The fight in Thailand had been tough for him, but he had obtained victory in the fourth round after releasing a hit his opponent on the chin. “The dog was hard… he gave me a good high kick and I looked blurry on the left side… I just shook myself and said – now it’s mine, dog –” he explained.
Furthermore, he remembered this experience as the key moment that helped him confirm his ability for mixed martial arts before his big debut in Mexico. “It motivated me to say – wow, I’m good – I trained for two weeks to fight with a guy who has fought in Muay Tai all his life, who lives in Thailand, who is a champion in his country. Ronaldo “Lazy Boy” Rodríguez was born in Chiapas on May 7, 1999but grew up in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz. He became the first Mexican fighter to participate in Dana White’s Contender Seriesgaining popularity in mixed martial arts (MMA).
Lazy explained that the nickname “Lazy Boy” symbolizes the “absolute control of violence”, a control technique within MMA that ensured success in three amateur fights and in his professional debuthelping him to be recognized inside the octagon.
