The Kumite event was followed by a wrestling event, i.e. VURI, which even the youngest competitors could try. In the VURI competition, the Slengiu club also did very well.
Finally, after counting the athletes’ achievements, Klaipėda district Slengiu club “Karate for all” won the honorable first place in the team standings, Kaunas club “Tora” came second, and the Klaipėda club “Tigras” took third place.
There was no lack of positive emotions in the competition. The children supported each other with chants and applause – there was no shortage of emotions for parents and spectators. The organizers of the tournament hope that the tournament will not only motivate the children to continue moving forward, but will help develop the character of the fighters and achieve their goals in life.
