On a wave of wild enthusiasm, Kamala Harris accepted the nomination for the American presidency last night. She did so with a long speech at the Democratic Convention in Chicago. She is now officially a candidate.
The Democratic Party is in a euphoric state, now that the switch from Joe Biden to Kamala Harris seems to be working. But the honeymoon won’t last forever and Harris will have to show what she wants with the country soon. Because many voters barely know her.
