The multiplayer shooter The Day Before from the Fntastic studio has become a real phenomenon in the gaming industry. The game with an open world, zombies and survival elements turned from the most anticipated overnight into a colossal failure and the closure of the development studio. The game was officially withdrawn from sale and they even began to return money to everyone, but those who did not have time to try the project still have a chance to improve. Digital copies of The Day Before have started selling online again.
It is worth noting that the Fntastic studio and the direct developers have nothing to do (although anything may be) with the return of The Day Before to sale. The game still cannot be purchased on the Steam digital store, but the survival game has begun to be actively sold on third-party platforms. According to them, there are official keys or accounts with an already activated shooter in the library.
Accounts with the game are up for sale for up to $1,000, and non-activated keys are selling for $200, which is significantly higher than The Day Before’s original price. In early access, the game was priced at only $40, and taking into account regional prices, the project could be purchased even cheaper.
Let’s remember that the authors of The Day Before closed just a few days after the release of the game, which they had been creating for years, saying that it was not financially successful and the studio did not have the funds to support the project. As a game, The Day Before was a disaster and quickly became the target of online ridicule. According to the latest data, the total circulation of the game is about 200,000 copies, but more than half of them were returned within a day.
