The hatred between the two neighbors in their forties next door in a building located in Mérignac had lasted, it seems, for a few weeks. One accusing the other of noise pollution. Christmas Eve did not help matters. In the early morning, at the time of explanations, the discussion turned into a fist fight. In the fight, one of the two men took out a small knife and struck his interlocutor several times. Did he try to silence him forever?
The victim was in any case transported to the Pellegrin hospital in Bordeaux. His days would not be in danger. The alleged aggressor was arrested and taken into custody at the Bordeaux central police station for “attempted murder”. He was still there that Saturday night.
