On the other hand, the integration of ChatGPT will be delayed for iOS 18.2 version whose release date is unknown. Improvements to Siri, including its interaction with third-party apps, will arrive with iOS 18.4, scheduled for release next year.

According to Mark Gurman, Apple is gradually rolling out these Apple Intelligence features in an approach of caution. The Californian company is verifying that its cloud servers can handle the increase in traffic.

It should be noted that this first version of Apple Intelligence includes certain restrictions : THE Writing Tools are only available in American English, and transcription of audio notes as well as voice messages follows the same limitation. Apple said other languages will be gradually added over the course of the year.

Apple officially enters in the race for AI with other giants like OpenAI and its ChatGPT which can be installed anywhere, even in a calculator.
