At Fatshark, we take great pride in our ability to deliver a game that millions of people can enjoy. This is what we set out to do with Warhammer 40,000: Darktide to create a very engaging and stable game with a level of depth that will keep you playing for weeks, not hours.
We did not meet these expectations.
Over the next few months, our only goal is to respond to the comments that many of you have. In particular, we will focus on providing a comprehensive crafting system, a more rewarding progression loop, and continue to work on game stability and performance optimization.
This also means that we will be delaying the release of seasonal content and the launch of Xbox Series XIS. We will also be pinning upcoming high-end cosmetic releases. We couldn’t continue down this path, knowing that we didn’t deal with many areas of in-game feedback today.
Thank you for playing and providing feedback. We really appreciate that. He has helped and will continue to help shape the game we love.

I didn’t think the PC version was so bad! Sure, there were issues, but small team online games like this one often have them. Again, small teams often don’t have the resources to do this everything at once, So if that’s what they want to do with what they’ve got, that’s what they’ll do with what they’ve got!
