Trump, porn stars and ‘hush money’: What happened to the Daniels case
Former U.S. President Donald Trump said he would be arrested on Tuesday (March 21), but his predictions have yet to come true and prosecutors have yet to indict them.
The incident involved his alleged “hush money” payment to porn star Stormy Daniels in 2016.
Daniels says she and Trump had an affair and accepted $130,000 in “hush money” from Trump’s personal attorney Michael Cohen before the 2016 presidential election, pledging to keep the matter quiet .
Cohen was later charged with multiple crimes; Trump has denied his and Daniels’ affair.
