Sony said that every time a vehicle moves, the suspension will work to stabilize the forces that occur due to external and internal conditions. However, there is a tolerance limit.
“That is comfort. This means that when driven to an extreme level, the vehicle is difficult to control,” said Sony.
Internal factors, continued Sony, one of which is the tall body shape. According to Sony, this body character catches the wind, especially at high speeds.
“Even though it has been designed by experts, there is still a tolerance limit,” he said.
“The risk that often occurs is skidding or even tipping over easily. Due to wind from the front or side. How do you do it? The high body is caught by the wind and then the body is slightly lifted which makes the tires lose grip on the road,” he explained.
Sony said that these cars can indeed be driven to high speeds. The proof is that there are also those who use these cars for racing. You can speed, but not on the toll road. If you want to speed on a closed circuit that doesn’t endanger other drivers.
“If you’re talking about speeding, you can. After all, the power from the engine is big and there are SUV cars racing on the circuit. But even that has been modified. Meanwhile, these standard vehicles are designed only for highways which prioritize comfort,” explained Sony.
