Cairo – Masrawy:

Dr. Jamal Shaaban, former dean of the Heart Institute, warned against eating Prophet’s birthday sweets, considering that they contain “deadly toxins.”

He said in a post on his Facebook account: “Mawlid al-Nabi sweets contain deadly toxins. I advise you and myself to avoid them, because their components of sugars, artificial ghee, and flavorings, colors, and smells harm the heart and arteries.”

Many people are accustomed to eating a large amount of Mawlid sweets, believing that this amount is once a year, without taking into account the amount of sugars obtained, which negatively affects the health of the body.
