In the context of discussing the resonant articles TIME magazine, which outlined a number of the most serious challenges facing Ukraine, Russian oppositionist Mark Feigin pointed out a dangerous trend in world politics. The point is that the focus of attention is precisely the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, more precisely, his intransigence and stubbornness, and not Moscow, which also categorically does not accept any compromises.
“The West could take more decisive steps towards Moscow to change its position,” – stated Mark Feigin in an interview for the Politeka Online YouTube channel.
The expert also emphasized that the situation around Ukraine is aggravated by the emergence of hot spots in the Middle East. This creates unpleasant preconditions for unnecessary discussions about a truce with the Russian Federation.
“It’s obvious that There is voltage and present some unpredictability of the situation” – Feigin noted.
But at the same time, the analyst added that Ukraine today cannot afford another option, because ending the war unilaterally, at best, will lead to the loss of territories from Crimea to Donbass.
“This is a hopeless situation for Ukraine, but for Moscow there are always options, – said the oppositionist. – But I hope that the meeting between Xi Jinping and Biden in San Francisco will move this situation in a positive direction.”.
