MEXICO CITY, May 8 (EL UNIVERSAL).- Another of those great performances by Luka Doncic helped the Dallas Mavericks to tie the series in the semifinals of the Western Conference (2-2) against the Phoenix Suns, who cost them a lot a bad afternoon of their star Chris Paul.
And although it was not one of those spectacular evenings for Doncic (26 points), his numbers kept him as the best of the team, in addition to what the former Real Madrid Slovenian injects, he always makes the Mavs turn on, the same as his people.
Dallas fans arrived at the American Airlines Center with the confidence of being able to match the series and always with Doncic as the character to watch. He didn’t let them down, although he had a lot of help, which will always be a positive for this team. In the end, and with 20 three-pointers made, Dallas took the duel 101-111 over Phoenix, which was not served by Devin Booker’s 35 points.
