The Dalai Lama, Tibetan spiritual leader, apologized to a young boy for asking him to “suck his tongue” a few weeks ago during a hearing of which a video emerged on social media.
“His Holiness wishes to apologize to the boy and family, as well as his many friends around the world, for any pain his words may have caused,” a statement posted on his official Twitter account read. “His Holiness often teases people he meets in an innocent and playful way, even in public and on camera. He regrets this incident,” the statement added. Video ANSA up.
