Toyota is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Supra model from the Celica model family not only with a limited edition for the Japanese market, but also with a unique model from the world-famous Lego kit. Like the Bugatti Chiron or Lamborghini Sián, this life-size model was created by Czech Lego experts and enthusiasts.
The parameters of the real car and the Lego model are slightly different, for example, the real Supra is a bit narrower (204 vs. 186.5 cm) and longer (435 vs, 438 cm), but the biggest difference is in weight. The Lego Supra weighs 1,885 kilograms, while the real Supra “only” 1,640 kilograms.

The model is built from a total of 477,303 cubes and its assembly required approximately 2,400 hours. An interesting feature of the car is also a completely elaborate interior, in which we find a steering wheel, a driver’s seat and alarm clocks from a real car. The passenger seat, the center console and the rest of the interior are then again built of Lego cubes.
The car also received functional lighting modules, including headlights, daytime running lights, turn signals and taillights. The original car emblem is then taken over from the original car, and the original wheels and tires are also present. It is a fully mobile car.

But you would look in vain for an in-line six-cylinder under the hood. The car is powered by an electric motor with unspecified power, which, however, should be enough to develop a maximum speed of up to 28 km / h. But how far the car will go is also unknown. But let’s not expect very large numbers.
Lego Toyota GR Supra will be exhibited in Legoland, Japan until October 11, after which the car should appear at the races of the Japanese Super GT series.
