“As it rained all day, not only were the boys constantly running down their necks, but they had to drive through very deep ground, and the enduro tests were very slippery, whether they were on peat or rocks. Despite this, they were able to gain important seconds on the sixth Belgian,” said the manager of the national team, Ladislav Krupička.
“For me, it was good that the tests we run here at the World Championship finally came on the third day. The weather increased the difficulty, but knowing the track from the previous two years it was possible to pay more,” said Kryštof Kouble, who again won the best times from the cup team.
“It was fitting that we knew what we were getting into. It suited everyone, we pulled from start to finish,” said Kouble. “Although I’m covered in mud and very tired, because there were some really challenging sections close by, but I gave it my all and there was simply nothing to do. It has hardened a lot, even on crossings. The second half of the Six Days will be very demanding, machine and rider fatigue will increase,” said Romančík.
“If it was difficult for the boys on Wednesday, I’m really proud of our girls. Although they have been recording a penalty since the second day, as only two continue, and Jana Kořenková is even driving with a fever, but they did bravely on the way,” said Krupička.
