In Sunday’s live final of the Superstar, after a long period of seventeen, the participants of the historically first year of this singing competition appeared together. But instead of ten amateur singers from the original party, only eight arrived. The winner, Aneta Langerová, and Petra Zlatuška Páchová, who have been forgotten in history, did not show up, what was their reason and why did the others disappoint?
An incredible seventeen years have passed since the broadcast of the first SuperStar series. During that time, various jurors took turns in the competition, who discovered a lot of new talents in the show.
But the first year went down in history and its finalists are remembered by people even after years. Therefore, it was a pleasant surprise for the audience when almost the entire group from the first series gathered on Sunday’s live broadcast.
Tomáš Savka, Standa Dolínek, Martina Balogová, Sámer Issa, Julián Záhorovský, Petr Poláček, Šárka Vaňková and Veronika Zaňková Černá arrived at the studio. However, the winners Aneta Langerová and Petra Zlatuška Páchová did not come to the meeting. Why the ladies were missing immediately became the number one topic. Šárka Vaňková admitted a certain disappointment.
Páchová is on maternity leave, the singers did not receive a crown for the live broadcast
Petra Zlatuška Páchová finished in eighth place in the competition and did not devote herself fully to music after dropping out. Today, Petra is a full-time double mother. She married bassist Honza Lstibůrka, who played on SuperStar in an accompanying band and did not arrive at the SuperStar event precisely because of her maternity duties.
However, the absence of the winner Aneta Langerová aroused greater emotion. “We will not comment on that, there are more reasons for that,” he said eXtra.cz brother and manager of the singer Nikola Langer.
Under a promise of anonymity, some of the finalists admitted that they did not receive a crown for performing at Nova, which may have been the reason why Langer rejected the offer. “Nova relied on everyone trotting out of nostalgia, and she was actually right. But to block people for two days, not to give them a fee, not to give them anything for the trip, at most to the farmer, to pay the hotel, that’s “Sadly, Nova promised us that all ten of us were involved. It was basically our condition, either everyone or no one. They told us that everyone nodded. Záhorovský and Vaňková do not hide their disappointment
While most singers of the first series comment on Langer’s absence anonymously, neither Julian Záhorovský nor Šárka Vaňková hide their disappointment. According to Záhorovský, the production deceived them by promising them that all ten participants would arrive for the live broadcast.
“We thought we would all be there. That’s why we all went out of nostalgia. That’s when we found out we weren’t all there,” the singer complained.
“Only Zlatuše and Aneta are missing,” Eva Feuereislová, aka Plastic queen, wrote in Šárka Vaňková’s comments, and the singer immediately responded: “Unfortunately… We were also disappointed,” Vaňková replied. Instead of the joy of meeting after years, some ex SuperStar had a bitter taste of disappointment in their mouths after the performance.
