Popular actress Hana Bauerová has died. The Actors’ Association informed about its death on its Facebook profile. Bauer has played 160 roles in her lifetime. He most connected his career with the South Bohemian Theater. She was 91 years old.
The sad news has hit the Czechia. The popular actress Hana Bauerová died at the age of 91, the Acting Association informed about it. Bauer played in almost 160 roles during her life. In 2020, together with the recently deceased Josef Abrham, she won the Thalia Award for Lifetime Achievement in Drama.
The report on the actress’ death was also confirmed by the South Bohemian Theater. “At this point, there is nothing to add but that we are sorry and sorry. She has left an indelible mark,” said Jana Mazurová, a spokeswoman for the South Bohemian Theater.
As a child, she played children’s roles at the National Theater. She then connected her life mainly with the South Bohemian Theater, where she worked for 70 years. Bauer also tried out television roles, for example in the series The Adventures of Criminology in the episode Blood. Another actress was originally cast in the role of a peasant woman, but she broke her leg. She was replaced by Hana Bauerová.
Among other things, she starred in two episodes of the series The Greatest of the Pierots and the films New Warriors Will Stand Up, August Sunday and Miluška and Her Animals. However, it became famous mainly due to its theatrical roles. For example, she played the governor in Gogol’s Auditor.
