The European Statistical Office (Eurostat) has published the latest data on the LFS unemployment rate. In March, it was 6.2 percent. for the European Union, and for the euro area – 6.8 percent. Thus, there was a slight improvement compared to February (by 0.1 percentage point), and also to March 2021. At that time, the unemployment zone in the EU was 7.5%, and in the euro area it was 8.2%.
