The Czech Republic has introduced additional requirements for citizens arriving from Bulgaria on March 29, 2021, among which it is necessary to fill in and send an electronic Public Passenger Locator Form, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
According to our embassy in Prague, citizens must also take and present in advance upon arrival in the Czech Republic a PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before arrival. It is no longer possible to provide an antigen test for COVID-19, not older than 24 hours.
In addition, no earlier than 5 days and no later than 14 days after their arrival in the Czech Republic, they should re-perform a PCR test, which will be automatically submitted to the competent local hygiene and epidemiological service. Until receiving the results of this test, citizens are required to isolate themselves.

The exceptions to the above rules continue to apply to workers in international transport and to cross-border workers, but not to workers in international transport transiting through the Czech Republic to Germany. They require an antigen or PCR test no later than 36 hours before entry into Czech territory.
