Jirži Ovčaček, 43, has been Czech President Miloš Zeman’s press secretary since 2013. Last week, he married a Ukrainian woman, according to Czech tabloid Blesk.
Ovčaček, 43, got married on Friday and is currently enjoying his honeymoon in the Czech Republic. He met a Ukrainian woman in the spring.
Ovcachek’s wife is Ukrainian and they met when he offered her a place to live as part of the refugee aid programme.
He also reportedly has a preschool-aged son.
