The defender of the Washington Capitals, Michal Kempný, will strengthen the Czech hockey team at the World Championships in Finland. David Musil, who did not fit on the Czech tournament roster, finished at the championship.

The 31-year-old Kempný will arrive at the championship venue on Monday.
