The new Honda Civic became the car of the year 2023 in the Czech Republic. The Association of Automobile Importers, which organizes the survey, announced this at the official announcement of the results of the expert survey.
This year, just like last year, six finalists competed for the title. In addition to the winning Honda Civic, which also crushed the competition in terms of the number of points, there were also BMW X1, Ford Ranger, Renault Megane E-Tech Electric, Peugeot 408 and Volkswagen ID. Buzz.
The finalists were selected by an expert jury from a total of 26 nominated cars. In order for the car to be nominated, it must be truly new, modernization is not enough, even if the model were to receive, for example, new engines. Among the nominees were six models that run entirely on electricity, and two of them made it to the finals.
