The cyclist, seriously injured on Saturday night on the Lunetstraat in Breda, later died in hospital. This was announced by the police on Sunday afternoon. The victim had collided with a taxi.
The clash took place around 4:15 am.

Due to the gravity of the situation, several emergency services have come to Lunetstraat. An air ambulance landed at KMA. Firefighters helped resuscitate the victim, saw a 112 correspondent.
The cyclist, a 23-year-old resident of Breda, was taken to hospital by ambulance under the supervision of a so-called traumatologist.
Many damages
The road was closed to rescue. The cause of the collision is being investigated.
“The taxi bus suffered a lot of damage,” the 112 correspondent said.
