The cycle ‘Music for summer nights’ encourages cultural activity in August

The museums of the Government of Aragon will come back to life with the fourth edition of the cycle ‘Music for summer nights’ (Múver), with a total of 15 performances by Aragonese, national and international artists, from August 4 to 28, on stages of the Huesca Museum, the Pablo Serrano and the Zaragoza Museum.

Classical music, rock, lyrical, flamenco or jota are some of the styles that will sound in an edition that will have new faces for the summer public, such as the musicians Eros Jaca and Jorge Nava and the group La Guirlande, who will debut in Huesca, or the singer María Yfeu, the dancers Julio César Iglesias Ungo and Helder Seabra and the Nunzio Impellizzeri Dance Company, who will perform before the Zaragoza public.

The duo formed by the cellist from Zaragoza Eros Jaca and the Santanderian Jorge Nava at the piano will open the program next Wednesday, at 8:00 p.m., at the Huesca Museum. These artists will bring the Boulanger sisters closer to the public with ‘Parfums Sonores’. The members of La Guirlande, one of the ensembles specialized in historicist interpretation of music from the 18th and 19th centuries, will also be on the same stage on Wednesday, August 25, at 8:00 p.m.

The Zaragoza Museum will start its programming on Thursday (9.30pm) with a show by the dancer and choreographer Michelangelo Bern. La jota will continue on the 12th (21.30) at the Zaragoza Museum with Roberto Ciria, which debuts at this event with a tribute to the most outstanding people of the jota sung in Alto Aragón, and O’Carolan he will land a week later in this space, at the same time, with his unique look at Aragonese music.

The patio of the Museum of Zaragoza will host on the 6th (22.00) the dance of Manuel Liñán, in a show that mixes the artist’s facet of author and dancer. The Tenerife tenor Airam Fernandez, accompanied on the piano by Ruben Fernandez Aguirre, will open the lyrical shows with ‘El echo de los tiempo’, a concert song and zarzuela recital that will take place at the Zaragoza Museum on the 7th.
