The Cyberpunk 2077 developer thinks the game is closer to a comeback on PlayStation

With the latest update for Cyberpunk 2077 thinks CD Projekt RED that the game is one notch closer to a comeback on PlayStation.

That was during his latest investor talk (via Kotaku) on Tuesday that the company was asked about a return to the PlayStation platform. Board member Michal Nowakowski said he believes the team is on the right track, but pointed out that it is Sony who must make the final decision.

– We have released several updates. We just released a very large one yesterday, and we’ve fixed a number of minor bugs. Each of the updates brings us closer to a return to the PlayStation Store. But, the final decision is up to Sony to make, you see. We think we’re closer, but they have to make the decision, so let’s wait and see.

Cyberpunk 2077 ble removed from the PlayStation Store just before Christmas, as a result of the game’s problems on PlayStation 4. As Sony explained at the time, it was important that all customers were happy with the products they purchased from the store, and in addition to removing the game, all players were offered a full refund.

Since then, CD Projekt RED has worked to fix bugs and improve systems in the game that fans have been unhappy with.
