The customs services of the regional directorate of Toulouse carried out several important seizures. For example, on September 27, 2022, at Toulouse Blagnac airport, a passenger of Brazilian nationality was arrested in possession of three glass bottles containing liquid cocaine for a total weight of almost 5 kg. On 3 October 2022, a seizure of about 20 kg of cocaine was also carried out, packaged in 17 identical packages surrounded by adhesive tape. It has a value of over € 800,000 on the illicit market. This is a record seizure of powdered cocaine carried in baggage.
The customs officers of the Millau brigade have also excelled in this fight against drugs and illicit tobacco. On 21 September they seized 120 kg of cannabis pollen worth 1.2 million euros. The next day, the same service seized ten Moroccan suitcases, all containing cannabis pollen, for a total weight of 327 kg. This seizure is valued at a level of 3.2 million euros on the illicit market. Finally, the last case, on 6 October 2022, with the interception of a vehicle loaded with 190 kg of manufactured tobacco.
