TELEVISION – Bad luck. Cassandre, candidate of Koh-Lanta: The Cursed Tribe, had the misfortune of drawing a black ball six times in a row, preventing her from participating in the events with her team. An absolute record that she could have done without.

The fourth episode of the adventure reality show was broadcast this Tuesday, September 10 on TF1. For fairness between the teams, a candidate from the reds had to be designated not to participate in the comfort game. Cassandre, who had already drawn the black ball four times in the previous episodes, wanted to avoid a repeat of the scenario.

But unfortunately, it was she who drew the black ball for the fifth time in a row. We are on the 10th day of the adventure and I have only done one test,” she noted, disillusioned. Alongside the presenter Denis Brogniart, she witnessed the defeat of her team. The yellows won a trip to the market to fill their bellies.

“This is the worst record”

The wind did not turn for the 23-year-old writer. The next day, for the immunity test in which the adventurers must save their skin to escape elimination, Cassandre collected a black ball for the sixth consecutive time.

« This is an absolute record in Koh-Lanta!” Denis Brogniart then observed. Disappointed, the young woman watched her comrades struggle to win this time and avoid a departure from their team.

« No one can get six black balls without going crazy! That’s the worst record ever,” she lamented back at their camp. While some took her in their arms and affirmed that she had nothing to do with it, Ugo reassured her in his own way: ” I think I cried at the 3rd black ball in Malaysia.”

The fear of being eliminated

This terrible misfortune has in any case made Internet users laugh a lot, as you can see in the messages posted on X and selected below.

Asked by TVMAG Le Figaro, The Lyonnaise says she felt “disappointed, in a negative spiral where (she) would never have the chance to compete in an event”. “I was afraid of having come for nothing and that the other candidates would eliminate me”, she adds.

To avoid being taken out of the game, she explains that she tried to be more active on the camp, and even gave some of her already meager food portion to other comrades. For now her strategy is working since she remains in the adventure. This week, it is Lola, from the yellow team, who was eliminated.
