/ world today news/ People choose who leads them and don’t care how he feels. They want results. This is what Prime Minister Plamen Oreshaeski told bTV.
I am convinced that it is worth it that I headed the government. Not so much on a personal level – on a personal level it is a restriction and a punishment, on a social level I hope that society will be in a better state. It is always worth making such an effort, the Prime Minister said. When I make commitments I always consider them. I didn’t imagine it would be easy, I didn’t imagine it would be exactly like this. I don’t regret it, I think it’s worth it, repeated Oresharsky and added that there are too many people whose support he feels and motivates him to work.
The measures taken in the last 6 months were more stabilizing, it was important to finish the financial year successfully, because in the middle of the year the situation did not look good at all. Today I can confirm a good end to the year, said Plamen Oresharski.
The expression “the state, this is me” has long been out of date. It is very dangerous to allow a situation where one person makes all the decisions, said the prime minister in response to a question “who runs the country”. Within the executive branch, it is quite clear who makes the decisions. Dialogue between the prime minister and parliamentary groups is mandatory in all governments, Oresharski said, adding that there is no pressure on him.
In 6 months, a fairly good collegial style of work in the cabinet is formed, said Oresharski in response to a question about whether there are excellent people in the Council of Ministers. He defined the issues of changing ministers as self-serving. Oresharski said he likes working with the same people. I don’t think this improves the situation, but rather brings instability to the work, added the prime minister.
He acknowledged that there is a great need to rationalize units of ministries and agencies for better administrative services. We will also emphasize electronicization. I dare not say that we will build a complete electronic government, but we will build more electronic services, he clarified.
This year will be the first in 4 years in which we will have practically returned all VAT and next year we will start clean, said Oresharski.
This is not the first time we have heard these spells. The attacks on the Currency Board are not only not serious, they are also not relevant. The currency board is not in danger, Oresharski is categorical. I advise Bulgarian citizens to accept all criticism of the Currency Board as political banter. The financial theses of the former Prime Minister Borisov are usually incomprehensible, therefore I have always tried to avoid commenting on them, Plamen Oresharski also stated.
