The initiative
Rai and Airc renew the historic partnership that gives twenty-nine years gives life to information and fundraising campaign which simultaneously involves TV, radio, newspapers, web and social media. A real relay that, for eight days, mobilizes the entire Rai and its audience with the objective shine a spotlight on the importance of supporting cancer cure research, to give new impetus to the work of young researchers engage daily in this battle.

Over 1000 new cancer diagnoses per day
Research is the concrete weapon and hope for many patients who are forced to face an oncological disease on a daily basis. The progress of research it translates into lives savedas evidenced by the data: today 3.6 million citizens have overcome a cancer diagnosis, with an increase of 37% compared to 10 years ago. Nevertheless, cancer remains an emergency: in Italy last year alone, 390 thousand new cases of cancer were diagnosed, more than 1000 per day.
