The main guest artists of the festival are the British dark cabaret cult group “The Tiger Lillies”, the Estonian indiroc group “Ewert and The Two Dragons” and the German minimalist pianist Niklas Paschburg, many well-known Latvian artists.
“Var! To be!” There will be a total of three scenes. This time “The Tiger Lillies” will bring their latest program dedicated to the Covid-19 pandemic to Riga and after a long pause will perform in Latvia again.
“Tiger Lillies” will be joined by hip-hop artist Ozols, jazz band “Very Cool People” with the program “50 Years of Influence + 30 Years of Cool Equals 13 Years of Music Hooliganism”, which is also the title of the new album coming in the autumn. , as well as the always amusing “Jakob Noiman Festival Band”.
On the “Hanseatic platform” stage “Var!” On July 31, German minimalist pianist Niklas Paschburg will perform, who will offer the Latvian audience the program of his latest album “Svalbard”, allowing him to fly together in contemplative and melodic electroacoustic space.
