The arrival of Club de Cuervos to the MX League is enlisted. The businessman Carlos Alazraki in partnership with Jeff Luhnow will be the new owners of San Luis, after acquiring the shares that Atlético de Madrid put up for sale after the failure of their investment in Mexican soccer.
Through his program that he has on YouTube, where he analyzes political issues, Alazraki revealed his new acquisition.
“Ahh, I have not told you that we already bought Atlético de San Luis together with some gringos,” he mentioned. “I still can’t reveal the name to you, but you can imagine it, that’s why we bought it.”
And although he did not want to reveal the name that the team from Potosí will now carry, he finally ended up admitting that many already know what it will be, so the arrival of Club de Cuervos is emerging, alluding to the successful series that passed through the Netflix platform with 4 seasons.
The said series criticized the management of national football as well as the bowels of the managers’ relationships, where two brothers fought for control of the team.
Míkel Arriola, president of the MX League, acknowledged a week ago that he knew of the arrival of new investors to take the reins of San Luis, although he did not want to give more details, hoping that the Rojiblanco team would be the one to end in a way official his foray into Mexican football.
