The crown prince chaired the Saudi cabinet meeting

Jeddah: Crown Prince and Prime Minister Amir Mohammed bin Salman chaired the Saudi Arabian cabinet meeting. A new story was born in the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday at the Alyamama building in Riyadh. Until now, cabinet meetings were held under the presidency of the king.

The King also held the office of Prime Minister. The Crown Prince, who was the Deputy Prime Minister, was recently appointed Prime Minister by King Salman. It was estimated at that time that from now on the cabinet meeting will be held under the presidency of the Prime Minister, the crown prince.

The cabinet meeting examined the content of the crown prince’s telephone conversation with the Algerian president and how to develop cooperation between the two countries. The cabinet also discussed the general trend of the country’s foreign policy in recent days, the efforts made by regional and international organizations, etc.

The Cabinet has assessed that the Crown Prince’s announcement that the Green Middle East Initiative Summit and the second session of the Green Saudi Initiative Forum will be held in Egypt in November to coincide with the United Nations Climate Change Conference reflects the country’s commitment to supporting collective action to address the environmental and climate challenges facing the Gulf-South Africa region and the world.

King Salman, who has been in Jeddah for the past few weeks, returned to the capital Riyadh on Tuesday evening. Regional Governor Amir Khalid Al-Faisal came to greet King Salman at Jeddah airport.
