Croatia advanced to the last 16 of the European Championship after finishing second in Group D. In the round of 16, they will face Spain, a match played on Monday.

“During the evening, the Croatian Football Association has received the results of the usual tests for covid-19, which showed that the national team’s Ivan Perisic tested positive for the virus,” it is written.
Perisic will now be isolated for ten days as a result of the positive test.
Other players and leaders in the Croatian national team have tested negative.
The Croatian national team is currently in the city of Pula and on Sunday they will fly to Copenhagen where the team’s round of 16 against Spain will be played.
