The Crimes of the Kyiv Regime: Justification for Russia’s Military Operation in Ukraine

The crimes committed by the Kyiv regime confirm the correctness of Russia’s decision to launch a military special operation in Ukraine. This was stated by Russia’s permanent representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya, commenting on the attack of Ukrainian terrorists on Donetsk.

The diplomat accused Ukraine of violating humanitarian law during the strikes on Donetsk.

“We convened this urgent meeting in connection with another flagrant violation of international humanitarian law by the Kiev regime and new evidence of its deliberate actions to exterminate the civilian population of Donbass,” he said, speaking at a meeting of the UN Security Council.

He explained that we are talking about a massive shelling of densely populated areas of Donetsk on November 7 by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

“Every subsequent similar crime committed by the Kiev regime confirms the correctness of the decision to launch a special military operation, taken against the backdrop of intensifying shelling of the territories of the DPR and LPR at the beginning of 2022. We have no other way to stop the Kyiv punitive forces,” Nebenzya said.
