The Crew Motorfest Season 3 Update: New Cars, Features, and Spectacular Cinematic Experience!

Game Message March 13, 2024, 8:57 p.m

The Crew Motorfest is entering its third season, which will last until June. During this time, we will take part in “Hollywood” activities and drive new cars – although players point out that too many of them already have Forza Horizon 5.

UPDATE (original post: March 12)

After a slightly prolonged technical break, the update introducing the third season of The Crew Motorfest has become available, and with it we got to know the full list of changes. There are a few more interesting surprises, such as increased rewards from skill challenges and Summit competitions, and added support for 3D Audio on PS5 and Moza steering wheels.

The Hoonigan crew has been entertaining us since December at The Crew Motorfest, but it’s time for something new. Tomorrow morning the third season will begin in the game, in which the Ivory Tower studio will bet on cinematic spectacle. It will allow us to experience it first of all fresh playlistconsisting of 9 chapters, for completing which we will get a new car – Aston Martin DB5 from 1963 – and also offering 15 side activities, 25 challenges and additional music.

In addition, the game will be updated with a number of new features changes QoL (Quality of Life), i.e. improving the comfort of the game:

  • the option of getting rid of unnecessary parts in bulk (instead of piece by piece); here you will see a video demonstrating this function;
  • new ways of filtering and sorting cars in the garage, along with division into categories in a vertical menu layout (film);
  • more filters on the map, showing activities related to individual progression paths within the Main Stage;
  • additional control settings.
  • Of course, the Aston Martin DB5 is not the only car added. In addition, more than 20 new vehicles will be added to the game, although they will be spread over four months – until June. Here list models revealed today (Ivory Tower promises unannounced surprises in the coming months):

  • 1963 Aston Martin DB5 – from March 13, playlist prize
  • 2022 Aston Martin DBS – from March 20 (a week earlier for Year 1 Pass buyers)
  • 2022 Audi TT RS Roadster – from 5/06 (or 13/03 by importing the collection from The Crew 2)

  • 2024 Ivory Tower Aezus – od 13.03
  • 2021 Jeep Gladiator – from April 10 (a week earlier for Year 1 Pass buyers)
  • 2022 Land Rover Defender 110 V8 – from 3/04 (or 13/03 by importing the collection from TC2)

  • 1969 Mini Cooper S – from 13.03

  • 1948 Porsche 356 – from March 13 (in the showroom or by importing the collection from TC2)
  • 1972 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 – from March 13 (in the showroom or by importing the collection from TC2)
  • 1986 Porsche 959 – from March 13 (in the showroom or by importing the collection from TC2)
  • 1985 Renault Maxi 5 Turbo – from 1/05 (or 13/03 by importing the collection from TC2)
  • 2022 Toyota GR86 – from 04.03
  • 2017 W Motors Lykan HyperSport – from June 12 (a week earlier with Year 1 Pass)
  • Although the list is long, two main problems can be identified. First of all, almost half of these cars were released a few months earlier in The Crew 2, so they’re not exactly fresh. Secondly, the rest of the vehicles – players – also lack freshness they point outthat every model from Year 1 Pass (and others) has long been available in the competitive Forza Horizon series. Thus, they were again accused of drawing too much inspiration from the games of Playground Games studio. On the other hand, were they able to avoid it, wanting to complete the collection of the most iconic cars?
