The Stäfa School Master Plan 2030 was rejected by the municipal assembly in September 2020. Further planning steps are no longer possible.
As reported by the Stäfa community, the community assembly approved a credit line of 754,000 francs for the Stäfa School 2030 development project on June 18, 2018.
The term of the loan was limited to December 31, 2020. The planning was carried out between autumn 2018 and the end of 2020. The main result of the Stäfa School Masterplan 2030 was rejected by the municipal assembly in September 2020. The project must therefore be invoiced; further planning steps are no longer possible.
Cost undercut of 33 percent
The billing concludes with an amount of CHF 506,362.85 (including VAT). That is CHF 247,537.15 less than the approved total credit of CHF 754,000.
This results in a cost underrun of 33 percent. The shortfall is due to the rejection of the master plan and the resulting omitted further planning steps (competition preparation, etc.). The municipal council requests the municipal assembly to accept the accounts.
