The creators and themes of the tenth documentary short film series “Latvian Code. Latvia Today” have been clarified

The competition supported the project “Fox in the skin” of SIA “MataMata” with director Mārtiņš Jansons, the project “Einaratīvs” of SIA “Vides filmu studija” with the director Betija Zvejniece, the project “One small party” of SIA “TV kompānija Māra” with the director Documentary “project” Bureaucracy Corpse “with director Ivars Zviedri, as well as SIA” Tritone studio “project” Full Moon Serenade “with directors Mārti Ābeli and Lauri Ābeli.

The film projects were evaluated by the competition jury – Zane Valeniece, the head of the project “Latvian Code. Latvia Today”, Madara Dišlere, the representative of the Film Culture Industry Expert Commission of the State Cultural Capital Foundation, Zane Balčus, the content editor of the project “Latvian Code. Latvia Today”, Liene Laviņa , LTV content editors Vikija Valdmane-Rozenberga and Anna Platpīre, LTV Marketing and Communication Department text editor Evita Mamaja.

The films will be shown on LTV during the national holiday in November.

The competition “Latvian Code. Latvia Today” is being organized for the tenth year this year. The project was implemented in cooperation with the State Culture Capital Fund and the National Cinema Center. Its aim is to support films that document the life, environment and people of Latvia today, look for a broader social, cultural and historical context and reveal the trends typical of the age in various areas of life.
