Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser has formed a new studio after leaving Grand Theft Auto producer last year.
Absurd Ventures in Games
Users on GTA Forums and the French publication Rockstar Mag learned last week that Dan Houser has registered a new company in the UK. The name of the new company is Absurd Ventures in Games.
According to the UK Business Directory, Absurd Ventures in Games’ business is listed as “interactive software development for leisure and entertainment”, suggesting that the company is a new gaming studio.
Houser is listed as the director of the British company, but the company so far has no employees.
Two companies in the United States
In February, Houser registered two companies in the United States called Absurd Ventures LLC and Absurd Ventures in Games LLC, suggesting that he may have perspectives beyond the video game industry.
