Disney and 20th Century Studios have released the final trailer for “The Creator”:
The science fiction thriller by “Rogue One: A Star Wars” story director Gareth Edwards with John David Washington, Gemma Chan and Ken Watanabe is scheduled to open in German cinemas on September 28, 2023 and is about humanity’s fight against artificial intelligence in a child’s body.
Synopsis:
In the midst of a future war between humanity and the forces of artificial intelligence, Joshua (Washington), a hardened ex-Special Forces agent grieving over the disappearance of his wife (Chan), is recruited to hunt down and kill the Creator, the elusive Architect killing a highly advanced AI that has developed a mysterious weapon that can end war – and humanity itself. Joshua and his team of elite agents travel beyond enemy lines into the dark heart of AI-occupied territory… only to discover that the world-destroying weapon he is sent to destroy is an AI in the form of a small child .
