A crazy fan got a tattoo of Milko Kalaidzhiev’s face. The singer’s fan drew a face of the Republic mustache surrounded by chicks, as the most famous song of the father of pop folk goes.
“In my time, there were no such things,” the folk legend Milko Kalaidzhiev himself commented to “Bulgaria Dnes”. The “Where Are You Daddy” and “Stones Falling” hitmaker was inked forever on the skin of a die-hard fan, and although Milko doesn’t have any tattoos himself, the singer was touched by his fan’s gesture.
“I don’t have a single tattoo, I don’t even have a dot. I was brought up differently. Years ago there were no such things. Dad was very strict and he didn’t like tattoos. I’ve never been a fan of that. Whoever made my face must really be a big fan of mine. Well done to him,” says Milko, but this is far from the first time he’s seen his face on someone else’s body.
“One time someone had tattooed me on his chest … to the heart,” the singer recalled.
“Great tattoo! She is very beautiful! I’ve seen a lot of tattoos, but this one is really, really beautiful,” Milko said after seeing the drawing on his fan’s thigh.
According to the singer, a tattoo artist must draw very well and be diligent. It turns out that he himself is not very far from this art and that he has a good friend in the craft. “I have a friend in Istanbul who graduated as an electronic engineer, then completed a secondary education and finally became a tattoo artist, and a very good one at that,” says Milko.
