Some notable players were still available when the Cowboys started on the clock: Georgia linebacker Kelly Ringo, Texas running back Roshone Johnson, South Carolina linebacker Darius Rush and NC State guard Chandler Zavala.

The Linebacker wasn’t necessarily the cowboy’s greatest need. They have a bigger hole in the left guard. But at some point a side will be added. Overshawn gives Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn another piece to move, making his talented defense even more unpredictable.
“Right now, we’ll start with the Will (linebacker) position,” Overchon said. “Last time I spoke to the DQ, we really detailed this position. But nowhere and everywhere does he have a plan for me. He just moves me, like he used to do in college. And some of what you’re seeing right now with the Dallas defense, moving a lot of guys.” “Having great players playing in the space, great players off the edge. I know Coach Quinn has a plan for me. I’m very excited to do it. Whatever you want me to do, I’ll do it.”
