The Covid indicators rise slightly in Cantabria

The indicators of the Covid-19 pandemic increased slightly in Cantabria this Sunday, where however the community continued at a controlled risk level and did not add coronavirus deaths, with which there are still 998.

According to the latest data from the Cantabrian Health Service (SCS), corresponding to the closure on the 20th, 18 new virus positives have been registered among people over the age of 60 – the only group for which transmission data is offered community- , which are eleven more than on Saturday.

In the last week, 183 cases of Covid-19 were registered in Cantabria, which rises to 338 if the previous one is also taken into account.

In this way the incidence at 14 days in this segment of the population rose to 193 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, five more, and 105 cases at seven days, four more than on Saturday, so much so that the latter indicator is the unique to the low-risk community since all others are at controlled risk.

As regards hospitalizations, the number of people hospitalized for Covid rose to 22, three more than the previous day, with which employment increased by two tenths, to 1.4%. In addition, there are two critically ill patients in the ICU, the same as the day before, with which the occupancy rate in this unit remains at 1.7%.

Of those hospitalized, 14 are in the Marqués de Valdecilla hospital, including two in intensive care; five in Sierrallana and three in Laredo.
