KONTAN.CO.ID – Jakarta. The Covid-19 vaccination program has been intensively implemented. Later, all Indonesian residents aged 18-59 years will receive the Covid-19 vaccine. However, the population of productive age will not be injected with the Covid-19 vaccine if they experience three factors.
The government is targeting to provide the Covid-19 vaccine to 181.55 million Indonesians. The Covid-19 Task Force noted that the development of the Covid-19 vaccine injection program as of March 19 2019 had reached 4,959,063 recipients. This increase is due to the additional daily Covid-19 vaccine recipients of 120,311 people.
Meanwhile, those who received the second vaccination, the number of recipients of the Covid-19 vaccine increased to 2,068,400 people. For the target of vaccination there are 40,349,051 people.
The Association of Indonesian Internal Medicine Specialists (PAPDI) has issued a recommendation for Covid-19 vaccination. The recommendation is contained in letter number 2309 / PB PAPDI / U / III / 2021.
In the letter signed by the Chairman of PAPDI, Sally A. Nasution, it was written that recommendations were formulated taking into account several things. From efforts to achieve herd immunity (group immunity), to the agreement of experts regarding the safety and benefits of vaccination. Likewise with growing scientific evidence regarding the implementation of vaccination for certain diseases and conditions.

According to PAPDI recommendations, not all ages 18-59 years old can be injected with the Covid-19 vaccine. The following are individuals aged 18-59 years who do not deserve to be vaccinated against Coronavac
- Allergic reactions are in the form of anaphylaxis and severe allergic reactions due to the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine or due to the same components contained in the Covid-19 vaccine.
- Individuals who are experiencing an acute infection. If the infection is resolved then vaccination can be done. In TB infection, OAT treatment needs at least two weeks to be eligible for vaccination.
- Individuals with primary immunodeficiency disease.
For those who cannot be injected with the Covid-19 vaccine, there is no need to worry. The best vaccine to prevent the corona virus that causes Covid-19 is to carry out health protocols such as washing hands, maintaining distance and wearing masks.
