Handling Task Force Covid-19 will conduct monitoring and evaluation related to the discovery of a new strain of Covid-19, namely B117 in Indonesia.
Spokesperson for the Covid-19 Task Force Prof. Wiku Adisasmito emphasized that the Indonesian government has carried out security at the entrances in various parts of the country with surveillance of international travelers.
“Currently the government has carried out surveillance of arrivals from abroad to prevent the entry of the Covid-19 strain at the entrance to Indonesia. Furthermore, it is our responsibility to prevent transmission from occurring in the community by disciplining health protocols,” he said.
