TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Safety protocols related to Covid-19 in Singapore loosened starting today, Monday 12 July 2021.

From 12 July 2021:
1. Groups of 5 people are allowed to eat on the spot
The group limit allowed to dine at F&B establishments will be raised from two to five people.

The Ministry of Health says eating at regular places is an activity that carries a higher risk because many people are taking off their masks and are in close proximity to each other while doing it.
But entertainment at F&B venues, such as live performances, recorded music and video screenings, is still prohibited.
Other measures, such as social distancing between groups of visitors and wearing masks, remain in place at all times except when eating or drinking.
