An unusual case of intolerance was recorded in the Ocho commune of the capital of Huila. A 22-year-old man was attacked with a knife, apparently by a member of his family.
The event took place around 5:00 in the morning yesterday at the 30E Bis race with 28th street in Neiva, when Yorquin Fernando Váquiro was meeting with some brothers and cousins chatting on the spot.
According to preliminary information, a person named Javier Acevedo allegedly drew a dagger and injured Váquiero Acevedo in different parts of his body. The causes that originated the aggression are unknown to this means of communication.
After what happened, his other relatives helped him and transferred him to the IPC care center in the Los Parques neighborhood, where he was treated by the doctors on duty who stabilized him and left him for medical evaluation.
According to the diagnosis of health professionals, Yorquin suffered two injuries to his back and one more to his left forearm. The authorities are advancing the investigations to clarify what happened.
The Neiva Metropolitan Police calls for tolerance, so that the community avoids committing acts that can end with a fatal end.
