The former people’s deputy “goes to jail” without the possibility of paying bail. He denies all charges and asks for help for his family.

In Kiev, the Pechersky District Court at its meeting on Friday, March 26, chose a measure of restraint for the former people’s deputy Semyon Semenchenko – arrest without the possibility of posting bail. He is suspected of involvement in the creation of an illegal paramilitary armed group.

“The court has just made a decision to send me to jail,” Semenchenko himself said in a video that he posted on Facebook.

He believes that his arrest is a “provocation of the special services of the Russian Federation,” which wants to stop the work of an organization that fought against PMC Wagner abroad.

“She (Russia, – ed.) Wants the volunteers to be slandered and to be behind bars,” the ex-people’s deputy said.

On his page on the social network, he wrotethat “goes to jail and denies all charges against him.” Semenchenko also asked to help his family.

Recall, March 26 Semyon Semenchenko got suspicion of SBU in the case of the creation of a “PMC”.

Prior to that, on March 24, the SBU said on the exposure of a paramilitary armed group in Ukraine, which consisted of more than 150 people. Later, they were accused of creating a “PMC” Semenchenko and “freelance NABU agent” Yevgeny Shevchenko.
