The court arrested the apartment of the daughter of the head of the personnel department of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation

The Basmanny Court in Moscow arrested the 100-meter apartment of the daughter of the head of the main personnel department of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Yuri Kuznetsov, accused of taking a bribe, reports RIA Novosti.

An apartment with Kuznetsov’s daughter was seized. According to the document, the total housing area is 105.3 square meters, the apartment is located in the west of Moscow near Rublevskoye Highway in a business class residential building. Similar market value of real estate, as follows from open sources, today is about 50 million rubles.

Last Thursday, the Second Military Court of the Western District rejected Kuznetsov’s complaint. He will remain in pre-trial detention until at least October 12.

According to investigators, in 2021-2023, as the head of the 8th Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Kuznetsov received bribes from representatives of commercial structures for certain actions that they preferred. As an informed source told RIA Novosti, the total amount of bribe exceeds 30 million rubles.

All of Kuznetsov’s accounts were arrested and money was seized. As reported by the Investigative Committee, during the search of the residences and registration of Kuznetsov, more than 100 million rubles, gold coins, collector’s watches and luxury items were seized.
